Terms of Use

Last updated October 17, 2026

By using Guardrails, you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and in plain language.

What Guardrails is

Guardrails is a faith-based accountability app for small groups of 2–30 people in churches and Bible-based organizations. It offers daily scripture, check-ins, a prayer wall, leader tools, and a private AI Companion.

Not a crisis or counseling service

Guardrails is a support, not a replacement for professional counseling, pastoral care, medical care, or real relationships.

The AI Companion offers encouragement, reflection, and guidance rooted in biblical principles. It is not a final authority, and it always points you toward trusted friends, your faith community, and qualified professionals.

If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and let us know if you think someone else is using your account.

Treat your group with care

What is shared in a group stays in the group. Do not share another member’s check-ins, prayer requests, or messages outside it.

Do not post anything harmful, abusive, or unlawful. Group leaders and Guardrails may remove content or members who break these rules.

Plans and billing

The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly at the prices shown on our website.

The Individual plan includes a 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, your account returns to the Free plan unless you choose to subscribe.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

Facilities

When Guardrails is offered inside a correctional, secure, or recovery facility, that facility’s rules also apply.

Changes

We may update these terms as Guardrails grows. If we make important changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
